Events

ACM SIGMICRO hosts a number of premier events relating to computer architecture, compiler / runtime technologies, and design including its flagship conference, The Symposium on Microarchitecture.

CGO ’16

The International Symposium on Code Generation and Optimization (CGO) provides a premier venue to bring together researchers and practitioners working at the interface of hardware and software on a wide range of optimization and code generation techniques and related issues. The conferences spans the spectrum from purely static to fully dynamic approaches, including techniques ranging from pure software-based methods to architectural features and support. In 2016, its being held in Barcelona, Spain.

Micro ’15

The 48th International Symposium on Microarchitecture is the premier forum for presenting, discussing, and debating innovative microarchitecture ideas and techniques for advanced computing and communication systems. This symposium brings together researchers in fields related to microarchitecture, compilers, chips, and systems for technical exchange on traditional microarchitecture topics and emerging research areas. The MICRO community has enjoyed a close interaction between academic researchers and industrial designers and we aim to continue this tradition at MICRO-48. In 2015, MICRO goes to Waikiki, Hawaii.

The International Symposium on Microarchitecture (MICRO) is the premier forum for presentation and discussion of new ideas in microarchitecture, compilers, hardware/software interfaces, and design of advanced computing and communication systems. The goal of MICRO is to bring together researchers in the fields of microarchitecture, compilers, and systems for technical exchange. The MICRO community has enjoyed having close interaction between academic researchers and industrial designers — we aim to continue and strengthen this longstanding tradition at the 45th MICRO in Vancouver.

CASES ’12

CASES is a forum where researchers, developers and practitioners exchange information on emerging technologies and the latest advances in compilers and architectures for high performance embedded systems design and synthesis. CASES uniquely aims to promote synergies across otherwise vertically integrated communities in embedded systems.
